I have a passion about music and I love the way it can create an atmosphere. I’ve seen the music changing through-out the years, but the song remains the same.

As Madonna once said, MUSIC makes the people come together.

Music creates a great party atmosphere and if played in the right way then a fantastic time is had by everyone. I strive on positive feedback and look forward to every celebration.

I have entertained at hundreds of weddings over the years. I am a passionate and committed dj, who understands the importance of providing a personalised approach combined with a high class service.

At the age of 15 yrs I couldn’t wait to go to my local youth club to play those 7” – 45 rpm Singles. During the late seventies, on wards I was playing all types of music, Disco, Soul, Motown, Reggae, SKA, Punk, Rock, and Pop. The 70’s music was so varied and the fashion was great. It was easy then to know what music people liked, because they would follow the fashion, worn by their favorite Groups/Artists. Punk-rockers, for instance, wore tartan trousers, zipped, t-shirts, chains and safety pins. SKA, music lovers, dressed very smart, with Pristine white Shirts, Crombie or Harrington Jackets and Brogues. The same thing went on during the 80’s, if you like the music, you wore the fashion. Mobile Disco’s were very popular and during your Friday-Night-Disco your DJ, would play all types of music in their different Genres.

It was great to see the different types of fashion worn at the “Friday Night Disco”, especially during the 70’s and 80’s. I loved entertaining my friends, at the youth club, and paying my weekly visit to the local record shop, to pick up the new releases and the Top 40 Chart List. Throughout the early 80’’, with Grease and Saturday Night Fever played alongside Sex Pistols and AC/DC,During the 1980’s I spent some time working at Butlins and realised entertaining was what I wanted to do. I would DJ at Parties, for Friends and Family and I looked forward to Sunday Night, listening to Radio One’s Top 40 Show, sometimes recording songs, onto cassette, so I could listen, to my favorites, over and over again. I loved every second of it and haven’t looked back since. I even made my own disco lighting, using 100 watt, coloured spot-lights and 40 - 60 watt coloured light bulbs. They looked great, at the time.- Please see my Gallery section page, for more information on my Retro Disco.....with Vintage 1980's Equipment, playing Vinyl Records, both 7" & 12" Singles and L.P's.

During the mid 80’s, I volunteered, as a “Roadie”, for a local mobile disco. I loved every minute of this, going to the local pubs and clubs......Discos were Discos then.....Varied Genres such as Pop, Dance music and New-wave were in and Rock music continued to have a wide audience.
The 1980’s are commonly associated with the usage of synthesizers, thus, synthpop music and other electronic genres featuring non-traditional instruments exploded in popularity. Also during this decade, several major electronic genres were developed, including electro, techno, house, freestyle and eurodance rising in prominence, during the 1990’s and beyond. Throughout the decade, R&B, hip hop and urban music in general were becoming commonplace, particularly in the latter part of the decade.

These urban genres, rap and hip hop particularly, would continue their rise in popularity through the 1990s and 2000s.
A 2010 survey conducted by the digital broadcaster “Music Choice”, which polled over 11,000 participants, revealed that the 1980s is the most favoured music decade of the last 50 years.

I would say, people’s choice of favorite decade would depend on their age and the memories music can bring back.
